Meanwhile, FIFA's new artificial turf certification regulations, due to be launched in 2024, have been in effect for six months. The new national standards reportedly establish clear testing specifications for the physical properties and environmental performance of elastic granules, while the new FIFA rules increase the number of mechanical wear tests for professional tournament-grade turf to 6,000 and introduce intelligent testing equipment that simulates real-world competition scenarios.
